Aerocrafted is an aeronautics company based in San Luis Obispo, California. Operating from their hangar office at SLO Airport, they engineer and manufacture aerospace parts and aircraft. With expertise in designing and producing tools for their daily work, they extended these skills into creating tools for everyday use—and thus, Aerocrafted was born.

Project Details

  • When Aerocrafted was developing their blade prototype, they approached us to help name and brand this new venture. They sought to create a consumer brand with a lifestyle quality that developed aeronautic-level titanium products.

  • The Aerocrafted team is made of engineers who build aircraft and the tools used to do it. They're creative, ambitious, and detail-oriented. They picked up on the design process quickly and became embedded into our team, which established a fluid collaboration filled with exploration and fine-tuning. This project was about the details, and we instilled an iterative approach that featured product prototyping and testing.

  • Over 10 weeks, we collaborated to build an everyday carry brand that reflects their engineering expertise and aeronautic values, drawing inspiration from the bold, innovative spirit of the 1960s space era. We crafted a style that captures the daring essence of that era, blending sharp, precise details to create a modern, expressive brand.
